Where can you go for an hour, put your networking skills to work, have lunch “meet new people and generate new business”? The Progressive Power Lunch! The luncheon is sponsored by The Chamber and is scheduled for February 9th at the Yellowjacket Union, University Wisconsin-Superior Campus. Registration is from 11:30am to 12:00, with the luncheon from 12:00 to approximately 1:15pm.

You must pre-register to attend this event, as table assignments will be made. The pre-registration deadline is February 2nd, with an investment of $20.00 for the luncheon.

Also, if you registered for the luncheon and can’t attend, please send someone in your place as the meals are prepaid and there are no refunds.

Here’s how it works: You will be assigned a different table for each course. While you enjoy your salad, everyone at the table will be asked to share business cards or other creative tokens from your place of business, also give a short summary on your business/services. Then, you will move to another assigned table for the entree and a third table for dessert. At each table you will meet new people and again, exchange information about your business. Each person at the table will have approximately 3-4 minutes at each course to promote his or her business, and each course is approximately twenty minutes. By the time lunch is over, you will have gained many contacts. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards, or items and information to share! This power lunch is a fun and rewarding event for both you and your business!
