Glossy Paper Recycling - SHS Grad Party |
|
|
Do you have catalogs and magazines that are outdated and ready for recycling? Did you know that area groups and organizations collect glossy, shiny paper to recycle and help raise money for their cause?
For more than 20 years, Superior High School has hosted an all-night grad party as a fun, safe way for seniors to celebrate graduation. As you can imagine, there is considerable cost involved in putting on a party for the entire graduating class. Over the years, businesses and individuals in the community have provided generous donations and the committee members have come up with creative fund raising strategies. This
year is no different; SHS is currently collecting glossy, shiny paper to help support their All Night Grad Party. The next collection date for the magazine/shiny paper will be Saturday, January 16th from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the SHS staff parking lot.
All magazines & catalogs are acceptable as well as shiny ad inserts: for example - ShopKo, Kmart, Target, Wal-Mart, Younkers, HOM, Walgreens, OfficeMax, Kohl's, JCPenney and many mailing inserts are accepted; anything with a glossy finish. Papers not acceptable: Petco, Menards, Micheal's, Cub Foods, Super One, Best Buy, comics or any kind of newsprint with no finish.
If you can’t make this date, don’t worry just keep saving they do a collection once a month or contact Sandy Frazier with questions or to make other drop off arrangements 715-392-1441/email sandy.frazier@superior.k12.wi.us
